Join us for a great weekend of FIRST Robotics fun!
FIRST Robotics Teams Demonstrate Their Robots
to Hundreds of Festival-goers.
Team 470, Team 1502 and Team 862 cordially invite you to join us for the 2011
FIRST Robotics Demo at the Ypsilanti Heritage Festival! - Teams are
welcome to bring their 2011 competition robot and a small PR display.
- Come for one day, two days, or all three.
- Demonstrate the FIRST Robotics program to festival-goers.
- Demonstrate Vex and Lego robots.

Here are some more details:
- Hours:
- Friday: Noon to 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Registration:
- Contact us before August 15, 2011 if your team wants to participate.
- Cost: $75 per team to help cover the cost of the tent rental. (can be paid at the end of the Festival)

- Then What?:
- We will have a 30' x 20' tent located on Cross Street, east of the bridge and west of River Street. There will also be a stanchioned area on the bridge side for our "Drive-a-Robot" fundraiser.
- We plan to demonstrate the 2011 FRC game robots on a partial game field, as well as Vex robots and other small robots.
- Each team can have some table space for a small PR display
- A Few More Notes...
- There must be at least one responsible adult with your team at all times during the festival!
- Food is, of course, available from consessions, but is expensive. You can also bring coolers with food and drink (especially water!).
- PR:There is plenty of room for team banners, sponsor banners, etc. Please bring them!
- Fundraising:
- Sales: Your team can bring non-food items to sell for fundraising and/or small robots that fair-goers can drive as part of our "Drive-a-Robot" fundraiser. Robots should be fairly robust and safe enough for children to operate.
- Raffle Tickets: No one can sell raffle tickets at YHF unless they register with the Festival Committee, have a Michigan state license, and the drawing for your raffle is held at the end of the Festival.
